FAQ'S about boutonnieres and Corsages

First I wanted to say thank you for taking the time to read my first blog post!

I hope that you enjoy it and learn something!

I have found that the busier I become with being a mom and a business owner

that I don't have as much time to read blogs so I appreciate it what the author gets to the point!

So I hope that I can give you all the same courtesy.

That being said I have found that at almost every wedding I photograph that a few of questions pop up.

1. What side does the boutonniere go on?

2. What side of the aisle do the groom and groomsmen stand?

3. What side do the corsages for the Mothers-in-law go?

So here is the answer to those two questions and the answer goes hand in hand.

A: The boutonnieres go on the left side (the Gooms left, so if you are looking at him your right).

and they stand on the right side of the Isle.

So If you visualize it the groom and groomsmen will be turned to face the bride and the Boutenire can be seen by the guests.

Now if you have Corsages for the Mother Of the Bride and Mother Of the Groom those are on their right-hand side (your left).

I hope this helps

Boutonniere Left Lapel

Boutonniere can be seen by the guests when he faced his bride.

Boutonniere Placement

The boutonniere gets placed on his left lapel. Your right if facing him.
