I am a portrait and wedding photographer that is based in Pullman, Washington. I also photograph in the surrounding areas including Spokane WA. This area is filled with such beauty and I am blessed to live and work here.
My husband and I have been married for almost 8 years now and had a beautiful ceremony In Spokane at Bozarth Mansion My favorite thing (other than my husband) that I took from my wedding was the images that our Wedding photographer took! We have a beautiful son who is the happiest baby on the planet! (not to mention super adorable)! I am the youngest out of two girls and my sister and I are very close. I am very blessed to have a wonderful family, with loving parents who are inseparable. Family and friends are very important to me as I’m sure yours are to you. I feel photography should reflect love, personality and create an emotion for the viewer for years to come. Photography stops time, and allows us to be a part of that world whenever we desire. To spend time with people who are no longer with us, to remember crazy hairstyles and bad fashion choices. To laugh with friends we no longer see or get caught up in a single moment that made us feel …well any emotion works. My favorite wedding photograph is when I first saw my husband before the ceremony, he wasn’t supposed to be waiting for me to arrive but there he was on the front steps. I had been so nervous since the night before that I was sick to my stomach but when I looked into his eyes that all melted away, It was like I was home. I was so glad our wedding photographer caught that moment. Every time I see that image I am transported back to how I felt so safe and loved. Life gets hectic we forget things and it’s so profound that an Image can do that, remind us of the wonderful pieces that make up that life. We don’t get those moments back, but with photography we can capture the essence. A newborns little fingers, the swirl in their hair. All of it is important; it makes us who we are. It is wonderful that we have that capability to capture it, to freeze time, and to embrace life with every image!
